I have to keep remembering I have a blog. Not that anyone reads it, but hey it's another time waster.
Nothing new on the art front. Still working on getting the pages to a book done. I'm really happy with it so far, once I start getting into a groove, that's it. Hopefully as soon as I get the blue pencils out of the way I can start finalizing the work to post it to whomever likes to see it.
As for everything else, I'm rather sad I haven't been doing anything for myself. Portrait work has been at a standstill and I feel like if I don't try to finish something soon I'll lose all the stuff I worked so hard to learn. I started a portrait of Klaus Nomi, 80's counter Tenor awhile back, and I love it so far. But things keep getting in the way.
On other art news I've been working with a good friend of mine April French on an idea for a graphic novel of epic proportions. I hope I can live up to the hype! I've taken a major liking to the story's characters especially the evil robot dudes. When I can I'll post some of the ideas up. In fact I might want to dedicate a blog entirely to the progress of this story and the development of the art. Personally I think it's awesome, and hopefully the rest of the world (and publishers) will think so too!
I think I'm ready to rule the world...as soon as I get a new bed.
