On a Roll (At Least I Think So)
So I've really been concentrating on getting full pieces done lately. What with the stuff I posted last week and right now, I really think I'm getting better at this whole "art" thing. Still no commissions so I'm spending my free time with Jonathan Frakes watching Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction ,drawing my OCs, or with my boyfriend who is not Jonathan Frakes (but just as/even more awesome) :B Still no word on if I'm being laid off again, we'll find out once the tax deadline passes tomorrow.
Anyway, my crowning glories for the week! I've been working on the concept of a weird ass Aztec looking robot thing for years now, and I've finally colored a damn picture! Yay me! Anyway, feedback would be greatly appreciated as this is a new thing for me as to where my artwork is progressing.
And a piece that nearly brought me to tears illustrating it:
I wish I had more time to get the pages to their story out. It's killing me inside!
Well, that's all I've got for now. Commissions are always welcome!

That Girl - Sariel...
I dunno, I almost gave up on this piece while I was still working on the sketch. I'm really glad I didn't. Leave it to Sariel to be hanging out with a bunch of skulls...
And here's the breakdown from inks to color to final image. This was the first piece I've done coloring completely with Copic pens as opposed to my precious Prismacolors. Blending with these pens is an amazing experience and I'm so thrilled to be able to pick a few of those babies up. Won't completely ditch my Prismas, but Robot gods be damned those are some nice pens.
Anyway, still working on my secret project. Something for myself because I can be greedy (and because no one commissions me to keep me busy otherwise).
Will post again soon when I finish it, probably won't be for a little while as I'll be moving again within the week due to some... Troublesome circumstances (which is why I can use the work).

Precious Marker Fumes...
So what little I had in commissions are actually out the door. Well just the one anyway, but I haven't posted some of them here until now. So I'm seriously open to have anything done now, but I'd prefer to get more commissions in if anyone wants to help me out a bit, gotta put that money into my bills.
Until that day comes I might go ahead and continue to do a bunch of cards with the intention of selling them, maybe even doing more of the Utena cards so I can make it an entire set.
Anyway, here are some things I finished recently (I noticed that this is the third blog post this week! I go twenty some odd days of busy busy and then BAM! Artwork!)
First off, a commissioned sketchcard for my bud Zoé of her character Isabelle Ta Kae:
Next, a two-part sketchcard commish for Claire of her characters!
And lastly a commissioned illustration piece for Jay of the 11th Doctor Matt Smith in an alternate costume he gave me the specs for.
Well, hopefully everyone is enjoying their weekend, I sure am! Just had a blast last night staying in and watching films and eating dinner with the bf :D :D Good times!
