However, progress on my project about Adeline is gaining momentum. I already have the first 12 pages already thumbed out and more are on the way. The next step is to finally get the actual pages off the ground! While that's underway I've been working on a ton of other images so kind of get all my ideas onto paper, it's crazy the amount of stuff is coming out! So I'm going to dump a few of the pieces I've been working on here, I'm very happy with what's being produced so far! Let's hope the trend continues!
The greed and decadence spewing from this image is overwhelming! But I'm seriously in love with it, I've never done anything this complex ever! But Sariel is worth the trouble!

I drew this on Tuesday in a fit of madness without having the internet up. I just got home from the bookstore and decided that I looked at enough books about monsters to get inspired myself! I haven't drawn an image of Adeline starting out, in a position of tired determination. So here you go!
My first attempt at using a brush to ink a picture entirely. I think Sariel hasn't been this scary in awhile, she's going back to her roots...

So much awesome. I wanna know more about the Adeline project! You're making her a comic? I AM EXCITED. Is Sariel going to be in it? I want to know mooooooar. Really love that decadent picture of Sariel, BTW. all the textures are delicious.
Ahaha! Yup! It's going to get published at some point, Rod and I are dead set on getting her story out there :D It's amazing because you know she just started out as a joke (the whole flat chest challenge) but seeing her take on a life of her own like this is amazing. I might get Sariel to make an appearance, along with a bunch of the other OC's that have been popping up lately. I'll be dropping off more details here or on the group on dA (with member only content too) as to the progress on the story because for the first time, I have a really good feeling that this is going to get my foot in the door. I want her to have a chance getting published.

You seem to be in the same position as everyone I know: not being able to get online due to you moving.
Still, even if you're not able to get online too often the quality of your work is making up for it, especially the self contained pieces like the second and third ones here.
Yeah, moving plans tend to shake things up a bit on that front. But luckily, it's been coming back in flickers so I can check my messages every so often without having to spend $3 on bus fare to reach the next destination for wifi.
That makes me glad. I've really been kicking things up in terms of the quality and time spent with every piece now. I'm finding out that recently working on separate pieces of illustration board works better for me creatively than out of a sketchbook. It's odd...
I love the image of Sariel up there at the top, so much greed and such, a bit piratey and the composition be perfect. :)
